Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Fort Walton Beach-West Destin

Every single staff member was incredibly friendly. The hotel was smaller than the surrounding ones and we loved it. We didn't have to run into as many people as we would have done at a larger facility. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There was a private boardwalk to the beach. The pool was super cute and great for little kids. It had an umbrella shaped fountain that the kids (or adults) could play under.

The staff at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Gave us great ideas on where to eat, etc. Breakfast staff were really nice and helpful also. Amazing location. I loved walking right from the hotel to the beach.

Super clean hotel! The proximity to the beach and our room was incredible! the pool was more of a kiddie pool, but having a 5 year old it worked for us. The staff (with exception of the guy who check us in), were so pleasant!! Our cargo holder was damaged in the middle of the night and the man in maintenance came and worked on it before we left……Amazing people!!The breakfast is SO good, and it changes daily! I would definitely stay again!

The breakfast was great. Everything was fresh and hot or cold as appropriate. Selection was good and taste was great. Hotel was clean, room was comfortable, parking was great, location was A+.

Breakfast was mostly packaged foods that were steamed, or a variety of cereals and oatmeal. There was some yogurt and fresh fruit also. The beach was really convenient to the hotel. Beach chair rental with an umbrella for all day was under $50. That was a pleasant surprise. The rooms was incredibly clean. I cannot begin to describe how little sand was in the hotel. Most beach hotels pick up a gritty feel on tile surfaces or the carpet will show evidence of sand, not this one. I really did like that I needed a key to be able to go to my floor level.
